Pebble app store

Pebble has come a long way since its Kickstarter days. It started growing by selling its smartwatch at major retailers like Best Buy and AT&T. Following which, the famous smartwatch received full iOS 7 Notification Centre support.

Now, the Pebble Team has announced that they will be launching their own official app store. This store will include watch faces as well as apps. The apps will be organised into six categories: Daily, Remotes, Sports & Fitness, Notifications, Tools & Utilities, and Games.

Each category will have an editorial selection of popular and new apps. Each app page will contain details like screenshots and links to companion smartphone applications, much like Apple’s app store.

The app store will be launching alongside with the Pebble 2.0 SDK in early 2014.
